Personal Profile

I’m Tania Udaondo Bernau, a Spanish architect originally from Bilbao. I completed my architectural studies in Madrid and have been living and working in London since 2015.

I am a fully qualified architect and a proud member of ARB, RIBA, and COAM. In early 2024, I also joined the architects’ company.

My journey in architecture began during my studies, where I worked on ephemeral projects and small refurbishments in Spain. Before founding my own studio, I gained significant experience in high-end residential, commercial, office, and mixed-use projects in London. My primary expertise lies in residential refurbishments, including Listed Buildings.

I emphasize spatial design, storage optimization, and maximizing natural light in my projects. With a blend of experience and creativity, I enjoy advising on design while taking my clients’ needs and styles into account.

I manage projects from the feasibility stage through Planning, Tender, and Construction. I thrive on collaborating with clients to achieve shared goals, coordinating with local authorities, builders, structural engineers, and other consultants to ensure the highest standards are met.

Outside of my professional life, I am a mother of two and love exploring the world through my children’s eyes. My passions include traveling, literature, art, and photography, which inspire my work. I also have a love for languages and am fluent in Spanish, French, English, and Portuguese.
